We are excited to share Camp Unity Eastside’s third annual progress report. We are grateful for your partnership this past year. Because of your support, Camp Unity Eastside (CUE) has been able to continue to provide safe and stable shelter for men and women who are homeless. We hope you enjoy looking through the report and reading about the impact your support has meant, the extent of the partnerships that underlie Camp Unity, and a look forward in 2021 and 2022.
Other key updates for this month include:
Location: Camp Unity is now hosted by Northlake Lutheran Church, 6620 NE 185th St., Kenmore. A huge thank you to everyone who helped by providing wonderful meals, moving lots of camp equipment and supplies, and many other tasks. A special shout out to Hodge Podge Café in Kenmore and GenCare Lifestyle – Scriber Gardens in Lynnwood for donating delicious lunches during the move. The move was finished 2 days earlier than last time! So appreciate Kirkland Congregational and Northlake Lutheran churches for hosting.
CUE Board of Directors: Boardmember John Eagle has recently filled the Board Secretary vacancy – thank you John! If you are interested in learning more about or applying for a position on the CUE Board, there is more info at https://campunityeastside.com/board-of-directors/
Summer/Early Fall Host: The CUE Board is also seeking a host for Camp Unity starting on June 24 for the summer and early fall. For more information, check out https://campunityeastside.com/host-camp-unity/ and contact Michael Rader at mikejrad69@gmail.com.
Thank you for your generosity and care for the men and women at Camp Unity Eastside.
